PROJECTS
Strengthen agroecological production in Argentina
This proposal seeks to support family producers, small farmers and rural workers in Argentina in training for a sustainable and environmentally friendly production based on agroecology. CEPRODES work will be focused on training farmers, supporting their production and investigating solutions to the problems that will appear during this process. These three axes are organized into different teams that will work together.
Educational delegation to support the human rights of peasants, agricultural workers, women and marginalized communities that work in rural areas of Argentina.
The regional initiative will cover several countries in Latin America. Many of the organizations that are part of the initiative have set up schools and courses to disseminate knowledge and experiences on peasant agroecology, challenges faced by peasants, possible solutions and awareness on human rights. As a way to expand the work of the affiliated organizations, the delegations of each organization will be assigned to visit national and international organizations to learn about their teaching methodologies, curriculum, research, local stories about failures and successes, and in general to strengthen the level of discussion and solidarity among the members.
